Key Event
SDG World Record Challenge
Global largest accessibility plastic toy bricks ramp construction initiative
Over 30 primary and secondary schools will collaborate with community groups and volunteers to build the world's widest accessible toy brick ramp, challenging the SDG world record. Students will develop team spirit and inclusive awareness through hands-on construction and witness the completion of the project on-site. After the event, all ramps will be personally delivered by students to local businesses, including shops and restaurants with single-level entrances, to address accessibility barriers for wheelchair users when entering the community. This initiative aims to promote the widespread adoption of accessible facilities, embedding care and empathy into daily life, and realising the Sustainable Development Goals to collectively create a more friendly and inclusive community environment.

Accessible Transportation Experience
In this event, participants will team up with people with disabilities to explore Hong Kong's public transport system firsthand, experience accessible facilities, and gain an understanding of the actual needs and challenges faced by different users. Through interaction and exchange, participants will deepen their understanding of urban design and transportation planning, spark public interest in inclusivity, empathy, and sustainable development, and drive ongoing improvements to accessible facilities. Together, we aim to build a more inclusive and convenient future city, realising the vision of equal participation in community life for all.
